One-Click Hybrid Cloud Solution/DRaaS
Quorum’s exclusive onQ Hybrid Cloud Solution, also known as DRaaS, provides a unique way to recover the most critical applications and data in the cloud after any storage, systems or site failure. Critical applications are always ready-to-run (or test) in the Quorum cloud by working in conjunction with the on-premise onQ high-availability (HA) Appliance. There is no need to ship new hardware, or even construct a machine from an image after a disaster. The recovery time for onQ is measured in minutes, not days.
Overview
The onQ hybrid cloud synchronizes with the onQ high-availability (HA) appliance after each update, creating a virtual machine clone in the cloud. This clone can be run in the cloud (for testing or after a disaster) with or without the presence of the local onQ HA appliance or image.
Cloud Backup & Security
All data transferred from the HA to the DR will go through a 128 bit AES encrypted session over a 256 bit AES VPN tunnel directly connecting the cloud to the local appliance. There is a dedicated firewall isolating each individual virtual network enabling access to the DR recovery node. All connections to the DR nodes are done via VPN to that firewall. The data centers that will be hosting your applications are world-class, state of the art, SOC 2 certified. The data centers have been built with unmatched attention to ensure the highest performance, safest and most stable environment possible.
Automatic Testing
Unlike other cloud storage and data backup solutions, onQ is a current virtual copy of any server – always on and ready-to-run. Additionally with onQ, daily tests are performed automatically on the servers. Because of cost and complexity, these tests are most often not ever performed with traditional back-up cloud solutions.
